On July 27, 2018, Prime Legal filed a petition for leave to appeal in the Illinois Supreme Court from a lower court ruling that denied Howard Ray, Sr and Mary Ray the opportunity to pursue a wrongful death claim on behalf of their late son who died in the E2 nightclub tragedy in 2002.
